Septic service and repair
Septic repair starts with an assessment
Symptoms are not diagnoses
Backups, slow drains, odors, and wet areas can all indicate a problem — but the same symptom can come from very different causes. A slow drain is not automatically a failed drainfield, and a backup is not automatically a full tank.
That is why we evaluate the system before recommending anything. Jumping straight to a fix risks paying for work that does not solve the real issue.
Possible causes need professional evaluation
- • A blockage or clog in the line to the tank
- • A tank that needs pumping (maintenance, not a repair)
- • A damaged or failing component — baffle, line, or drainfield
- • A drainfield that is saturated or at end of life
These are examples of what an assessment may consider, not a list of repairs we offer. The assessment helps identify appropriate next steps for your system.
How we approach a service visit
- 1
Describe the issue
You tell us what you are seeing and when it started.
- 2
Assess the system
We look at the system to understand what is happening.
- 3
Discuss options
We explain what we found and what the possible next steps are.
- 4
Authorize work
You approve the scope before any work begins.
About estimates
A real estimate depends on what the assessment finds, how accessible the system is, and the scope of the work. We will not quote a number before understanding the situation — an estimate without an assessment is not reliable.
